Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of program schedules and standard activities.
• Has a strong personal connection to Nature
• Has nature skills including: fire building, basic knot tying, shelter building, reading weather and comfortable dressing for all seasons
• Direct Management of 4-6 Program Guides and Mentors
• Models living and working behavior as outlined in the Through The Trees Handbook
• Input on creation of growth and retention plans
• Work closely with Through The Trees staff and volunteers to ensure efficient completion of tasks and goals as they relate to meeting the overarching strategy, vision and mission
•  Ensure communications to staff, vendors and centers of influence are timely, accurate, kind and professional
• Attends and/or facilitates staff meetings and trainings, program orientations, community events and promotional events to help support community relationships

Schedule
In the Field: Monday thru Thursday 8:30 to 4:00(ish)
Administrative: As needed and in a way that works with your life

Salary
Starting at $21/hour but negotiable depending on skill and experience

• Input on program curriculum and activities.  Takes a proactive approach on creatively supporting our programs with new and innovative activities.
• Work closely with Through The Trees staff and volunteers to ensure efficient completion of tasks and goals as they relate to meeting the overarching strategy, vision and mission
  
• Attends and/or facilitates staff meetings and trainings, program orientations, community events and promotional events to help support community relationships
