GLOW Lantern Walk
A Winter Solstice & Full Moon Lantern Walk to Support Youth Nature Programs
Sunday, December 19th from 6:00 to 7:00pm
As a special way to come together to honor the Winter Solstice and the December Full Moon, we would like to invite you to join us for a glowing, wintry evening in nature. We will gather together at the parking area, walk on our wooded trail carrying lanterns to light the night, and join together in the labyrinth in the field. Once we have all gathered, we will hold a special solstice ceremony and sing This Little Light of Mine, for those who wish to join in. After our walk back from the field, there will be a campfire on the lawn by the house with hot cider, cocoa and tea as well as homemade crafts for sale. Be sure to dress warmly, in boots and snowpants if there is snow!
One ticket is for one vehicle only. The event is from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
This is a fundraising event to help raise money for our Youth Scholarship Fund to support Youth Nature Programs at Through the Trees - helping us to get more kids outside in nature. We thank you for your support! Below is the suggested Cost per Vehicle:
$30 (1-3 people per vehicle)
$60 (4-5 people per vehicle)
$90 (6+ people per vehicle)
Cancellation/Refund Policy: While this event may be held in snowy precipitation, if Through the Trees determines that the weather makes driving unsafe, we may cancel. In that case, we will offer a snow date of Tuesday, December 21st. Refunds will not be given if the event is held in undesirable weather, or if the snow date must be used. Refunds to ticket holders will be honored until 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 15th, after which refunds will not be provided. Any refund given up until 5:00pm on December 15th will not include a 10% processing cost (i.e. a $30 ticket will be refunded $27). Through the Trees reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this event for any reason. Please only one vehicle per ticket.
