Social Learning * Playful Exploration * Nature Connection
Half Day Nature Immersion Program for Ages 4-5*
September through May, Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00am to 12:30pm
In our Sprouts program, young children have the opportunity to cultivate a strong connection with the natural world through hands on exploration, story telling and imaginative play. The forest gives us ample opportunities to develop balance, resilience, focus and motor skills. We have so much fun climbing, running, jumping, digging and splashing our way through the landscape, learning about our plant and animal friends as we go. Together we practice being kind, mindful and respectful friends to each other and to all the living things in our ecosystem. Nature crafts, yoga, music, plant and animal identification and gardening all find their way into our magical mornings together. There is a 4:1 Child to Staff ratio in Sprouts.
The program will be outdoors, rain, snow or shine unless weather is extreme and potentially dangerous (such as high winds, low wind chill, low temps and steady rain, or unsafe driving conditions), which may result in cancellation.
Choose to attend 1 or 2 days per week (Monday and/or Wednesday) from 9:00am to 12:30pm for the school year. We encourage families to enroll children for 2 days if at all possible as this provides continuity and stability and helps children become more immersed within the program, social dynamics, skill building and activities. Often kids seem to "settle in" on their second day of the week, finding their groove more quickly.
Children must be at least 4 years old by the start of the program to join the Sprouts cohort.

If you must withdraw your child from the program a 30-day notification is required. If at least 30 days notice is given, the remaining monthly payments will be canceled. If less than 30-days notice is given, the next month's payment is required, and all remaining tuition payments thereafter will be canceled. Notice of withdrawal must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The enrollment/application fee and deposit upon enrollment are non-refundable.
