Wild Woods - Nature Crafting Club (Mondays)
10 weeks, starting Monday, September 12th
This class runs for 10 weeks, on Mondays starting September 12th through November 14th.
Time: 3:00 to 4:30pm
Ages: 5-13
Join Pennie for some creative nature art and crafts! A different art project will be offered each week, using natural materials and/or with nature as the focus of the craft. Crafts include but are not limited to cattail basket/mat weaving, wool felting, leather work, solar prints, clay creations, and paracord bracelets. This class provides an opportunity to dig deeper into specific nature crafts during a focused time.
During the last week of Wild Woods Classes for this 10-week session, we will hold a special day of sharing and gratitude for families on Friday, November 18th from 3:00 to 4:30 to showcase all that the kids have been working on in all four clubs/classes offered (Nature Crafts & Creations, Woodworking Club, Drama Club, Campfire Cooking Club).
This class will be held outdoors, moving into a covered space if needed. Please dress for the weather. Outhouse style bathrooms are available.
Participants already enrolled in Through the Trees' Homeschool Nature Immersion Program on the same day as this class can stay after program in Wild Woods Club for free play until class begins.
Cost: $200* (this includes supplies cost)
*Paid in automatic monthly installments, on Sept 1, Oct 1 and Nov 1.
